Celebrations!

 

Celebrations can be many types of things, depending on who you are, what culture or religion you are. You can celebrate many different types of ways, for example. Birthdays, you sometimes celebrate with money and/or gifts, also food (My favorite). There is  also other celebrations like Christmas or Halloween. Some people don't celebrate Halloween because of there religion and beliefs, some also don't celebrate Christmas. Celebrations are times to spend with your family.

This is about a lady who grew up in Niue. She learned weaving from the women in her village. She weaved hats and many other things like baskets. She then came to New Zealand and joined many different weaving groups in Auckland.
